DIN 18088 - Supporting structures for wind power plants and platforms
The German Institute for Standardisation (DIN) has been working since November 2014 on the standard texts for DIN 18088, ‘Supporting structures for wind power plants and platforms’.
This standard will contain additions for the calculation, design and construction processes to make wind power plants usable together with the Eurocodes both on- and offshore.
As an active member of the working body NA 005-51-07 AA, we support the work in AK 4 in the sub-committees for pile and surface foundations.
This series of standards with the main title consists of the following parts:
Part 1: Basic principles and effects
Part 2: Reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete structures
Part 3: Steel constructions
Part 4 Building ground and foundation elements
Part 5: Connections between steel constructions and reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete structures
